Everyone seems to rave about the Stillman & Birn sketchbooks. I have tentatively settled on the Moleskine Art Watercolour Sketchbook as my go-to to use for my drawings and paintings, but I was curious about the Stillman & Birn line.

I’ve not been sketching everyday, at least, not on paper. I have done some random sketches on my 12.9 iPad Pro using the Tayasui Sketches Pro app, which I’m really liking, but that’s not paper.

As a photographer, I obsessed over bags, always searching for the “right” one. As a result I accumulated a number of bags. Since one never knows when a discarded bag may end up being a great bag again, I still have many of them.

I have looked at reviews of the Etchr Slate and Slate Mini for months. It is an attractive and for some, apparently, very practical drawing and painting tools carrying case that turns into a portable drawing surface for your lap, while standing or attached to a tripod. Sounded and looked great.
