In 2009 I visited my relatives in southern Germany and such visits quite often result in a visit to an old castle. When looking back over photos recently from my trips to Germany to use as a reference photos for sketching I found this one and thought it looked promising, not to mention relatively simple. So, a sketch of flora by a castle ruin wall.
